Hackers Cannot Silence Us

To the Citizens of the United States and those that find refuge here--
Do not allow others to silence you. We cannot exist as a people(s) without hearing each other's beliefs and opinions--silence is certain death for democracy. I have been told to be "safe." Safe is not an option. Some will fall. Some will live. I want my words to carry on after me. I want freedom and justice and humanity. I seek clarity about our division. I want to reach out to the men that want to be MEN and let them feel whole--let them feel like they are enough without being told they are bad and filling them with a different type of pride. They come broken as we all do--I am learning to listen beyond the repeated rhetoric. There is hurt and disenfranchisement. Do not believe that excuses the behavior, the suppression--but to stop violence, to stop our division, we must come to the table and understand our insecurities.
I touched a nerve with my writing. I write of Ukraine. I write of Gaza. I appeal to the President of the United States, and now, I appeal to you. Listen. Tell a stranger that you love them. See what happens when you listen. An entire community does not speak to me because I flipped off a Maga man that spoke over me and felt he was my better. Shunned is okay. That means my message went out like a beacon. But if we embrace and speak to each other perhaps the disenfranchised young and old men will feel whole. Perhaps we can finally welcome people of color as true equals.
A MAGA gentleman told me that I was "trolling on a conservative platform. I was either crazy or evil." I replied that I was a bit of both. My friends we must resist at the same time as we embrace. I believe in my soul that we can join together--all races, all genders, all everybody. Let us live the truths we speak. Let us have the moral high ground because we are moral.
No one needs to be pushed down when we can all rise up.
Be the match that explodes oppression and ushers back in democracy.
